Cosmic needed a distinctive new brand for an upcoming strand of their Positive People project. The brief was to creative something professional, something which would appeal to small businesses and be able to appear on leaflets and guides as they were developed.
My intitial concepts were as follows. The first inspired by a sketch Cosmic shared, also looks like a stamp – something home made. Perfect for lots of small businesses. The second, inrpired by a more digital look for the logo and the third, a wild card option designed to be reminiscant of a badge of honour that small business owners might pin to their chests.
Cosmic decided that the logo design they liked best was the first, and asked to see it with a few tweaks: squared corners, and different colours:
In the end, the team decided it would be useful to have the rounded versions of the logo with several different colours to use in different situations.
